Kathy Huynh Artistry was founded in the Summer of 2013 by Kathy Huynh Cabico, an ambitious freelance makeup artist based in Orange County, California.

Kathy is a skilled makeup artist who has worked tirelessly on mastering her craft, offering services for weddings, tea ceremonies, print, photoshoots, special occasions, and everything in between. Being Asian herself, Kathy has extensive experience working with Asian clientele, she understands their features and tones, and knows how to enhance their natural beauty without making them look too different.

Kathy chooses to specialize in bridal artistry because it best serve her purpose as an artist. Her passion is using makeup to serve everyday women and help them look and feel their personal best, because she believes there’s nothing more beautiful than a woman who sees her beauty reflected on the outside as she feels it on the inside. There’s no better way to use her skills than to transform everyday women into gorgeous brides.

With over a decade of experience in the wedding industry, Kathy prides herself on not only delivering flawless, long lasting makeup application, but also creating a world class, personalized client experience that has her clients raving and referring to their friends and family. This is because she makes every client in her chair feel valued, see and appreciated.

Kathy is a lifelong learner who continues to invest in her craft through formal training. She joined the Couture Academy of Modern Make-Up Artistry, mentored by Gia Deo, in Newport Beach, CA. She also trained with celebrity makeup artist Scott Barnes (JLo’s makeup artist) to learn his techniques, and studied bridal makeup and industry knowledge under Donna Mee, owner of Empire Academy.
